Hi! I’m Darija Mesko, I'm a career coach and HR leader. Positivity, transparency and emotional intelligence are a slight obsession alongside with a great HR experience. I’ve worked as a People and Culture (HR) Business Partner in Germany and later as Head of HR in the UAE (Dubai). My work gave me an opportunity to cover markets like Slovenia, Italy, Spain, France, the UK, Poland, the U.S., and Latin America. For the past 2 years my focus has been on the UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), Saudi Arabia, and the wider Middle East market.
My advantage is simple, I’ve sat on 3 different chairs. I’ve been the HR person reviewing CVs and running interviews, I’ve been the hiring manager making final decisions, and I’ve been a job seeker myself. I know how hiring works in different job markets around the world because I’ve seen it from every side of the table.

I have worked as a Human Resources Business Partner in Germany and as a head of HR in the United Arab Emirates. Alongside cross-cultural HR duties, I organised workshops, attended courses and obtained certifications such as Emotional Intelligence from Daniel Goleman, while practicing emotional intelligence for the past 10 years personally and in teams.
I work with people at every stage of the journey... Sometimes that means helping someone find their way in a tough job market, change career direction, rewrite their CV, prepare for interviews, or finally understand how to clearly explain their experience and best link it to the job requirements...
...and other times that means supporting companies that are building more than a business. They are building a place where people need to communicate respectfully, hire well, feel safe enough to speak, and actually want to stay, because business is still built by people. You can have the idea, the product, the plan, and the goals, but in case of bad hiring decisions or if communication gets messy, not to mention if the team does not feel good at work, everything becomes more difficult than it needs to be.
What I do isn’t one-size-fits-all, however whether we’re running a workshop, rewriting a CV, helping you with interviews or helping a startup shape its culture, it’s all connected. It’s about bridging gaps and strengthening connections between learning, working and growing, so people stop feeling lost, and progress to a feeling of belonging.
